
Vinutha Harish, a distinguished leader and philanthropist from Bengaluru, Karnataka, brings a dynamic legacy of service, leadership, and empowerment to her role as the Association President of Inner Wheel India for 2026–27. With deep roots in community development and a passion for uplifting women and youth, Vinutha’s journey is a powerful example of dedication, compassion, and transformative leadership.
Born on October 9, Vinutha was raised in a family deeply committed to philanthropy and entrepreneurship. Inspired by her grandfather’s legacy and nurtured by strong role models, she grew up valuing service, humility, and leadership.
She completed her schooling at St. Theresa Girls School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from NMKRV Women’s College. A multitalented sportsperson, Vinutha excelled in Kho Kho, Volleyball, Throw Ball, and Badminton, representing her school, college, and the University and State
teams. She achieved national recognition in Volleyball and Shooting Ball, earning the prestigious “Kreeda Shree” Award from the Bangalore District Volleyball Association.
Vinutha’s contributions to social service are extensive and impactful. She cofounded the Rajajinagar Sports and Cultural Association, offering sports training to underprivileged youth. This initiative earned the Arya Bhatta Award for its contribution to grassroots sports development.
In 2001, she established SIFI-I Way, Bengaluru’s first women-run Internet center, which she managed for 12 years. Through her venture Atal Computers, she provided free computer literacy training to over 100 SSLC students from marginalized backgrounds.
Her association with Inner Wheel began in 2014, and as President of the Inner Wheel Club of Mahalakshmipuram (2015–16), she spearheaded several lifechanging projects:

Distribution of 10,000+ notebooks
Renovation of school toilets
Scholarships and watches for meritorious students
Organizing health camps benefiting thousands of children
Launch of a free dialysis program for women at the Deen Dayal Dialysis Centre,

In 1994, Vinutha married Harish Sriram, a civil engineer, entrepreneur, and former Deputy Mayor of BBMP. Together, they manage their family business, Maruti Motors, a Bajaj two-wheeler showroom and service station.
They have a son, Bharath, an architect, who married Rachana, also an architect, in 2023. Rachana has become a beloved part of the family. The entire Harish family shares a love for sports, with all members having proudly represented Karnataka in national volleyball tournaments.
Vinutha is an enthusiastic traveller, passionate about discovering new cultures and destinations. She enjoys dancing and cooking, which reflect her energetic and creative spirit.
