A short biography.
Here is a short presentation of my professional and personal life and of my Inner Wheel life.

          I have worked as a teacher of English and French at secondary and grammar school level at adult education and later on as an assistant headmaster for fifteen years. My main duty as headmaster was to
provide individual time tables for every student at their individual level. The teacher team working with this was fantastic and our group received a national award for our achievements.

         I am married and have three children and four grand-children. Besides being active in Inner Wheel I belong to Odd Fellow and I am now supreme master for the local lodge. When the children lived at home, I was a member of the Music School Parents’ group organising flea markets to get money for camps.

        Before joining Inner Wheel in 2003 I had never heard of the organisation. An in-law recruited me and I quickly became an active member starting off in 2005 as club secretary and vice president and then president which I have been twice. I have been in the District as vice president, president and past president. In 2017 I was national vice president, then national president and finally national representative and RISO.

      In 2022 – 2023 and 2023 – 2024 I was a Board Director in International Inner Wheel. All these different positions have been fantastically rewarding. Through them you learn about the organisation and get to
know members both locally, nationally and internationally. The work and the engagement members show and practise are amazing. Inner Wheel has given me so much joy and experience which I would love to repay as much as possible.
