Jayshree Bhattacharyya was born and brought up in Bilaspur(CG).

She did her primary and secondary education from Railway English Medium, Bilaspur. Pursued her graduation in Social Science and complete her diploma in Social Service.

She is married to Retd. Forest officer Mr. Pranabananada Bhattacharyya, who is a businessman now in the plywood industry. Her family completes with two children a daughter named Reema Bhattacharyya, graduated in Information Technology, working as an IT-Professional in a Multi National Company, and blessed with a son named Devayan Bhattacharyya, an engineer in Electronics, working as a team lead in data analysis.

Jayshree joined Inner Wheel club of Bilaspur in the year 2002 and rose from an ordinary member to a reputed position as a District Chairman of District 326. She started her I.W. career as a Club member, later she accepted a number of responsibilities and posts and handled them with admirable aplomb.

She was a club ISO and achieved the award of the best I.S.O. from District 326. During the year, she was chosen the president of IWC of BILASPUR. During year 2007-08 her president-ship she under took various useful projects related to Health, Education and other important fields. She was honored by the District with the Dynamic presidential award. She served as a club Secretary three times and awarded as a best Secretary of the District.

With the strong support of I.W. friends Jayshree entered the District Executive Committee as Dist I.S.O. during 2011-12. In 2013-14 Jayshree was honored by the post of District Treasurer and received outstanding Treasurer Award from the Association.

She has attended three Triennials BANARAS, HYDERABAD, KOLKATA as a voting Delegate. She also attended the South Asia Rally at Cochin, Srilanka, Mumbai and Malaysia.

She has attended the IIW Convention in INSTANBUL (TURKEY) and COPENHAGEN (DENMARK).

She is a staunch supporter of Girl education and women empowerment. Outside Inner Wheel she has served the society in many ways . She never hesitates to raise her voice against sensitive issues that are a matter of concern to the society. Her approach is absolutely clear cut and she is able to infuse vibrant energy in to the people, thus motivating them to give their level best to fight for any noble cause.

Jayshree has a strong belief in GOD and has a deep sense of duty towards the family and society. Her passion is visiting hill stations, gardening, music and cooking.
